Safety Systems & Controls designs products that enhance driveability and safety of industrial and commercial equipment. Enhancements include controlling transmission directional changes, top vehicle travel speeds, acceleration rates, when engines turn off and why and how much traction control is needed to limit tire slippage.
These products are important for a number of reasons when looking at personal safety, equipment damage and the expense to the environment. They make traveling safer by reducing travel speeds to safer limits, reduce reverse top speeds when visibility is restricted and limit tire spin which enhances safer driveability. By limiting change of direction at high travel and engine speeds, we protect equipment from driveline shockload damage and reduce product and facility damage. By control idling times, accelleration rates and top travel speeds, we reduce the carbon impact equipment has on the environment.
