| Simple Design
As with all SSC products, ease of installation played a major part in
its design. The Sure-Start unit installs in the vehicle's engine compartment.
The unit is attached to the battery and utilizes existing battery cables -
no cutting or splicing is required. A typical installation takes
approximately 10 minutes. |

| Ease of programming is now as simple as installation. |

| Tweaking the unit requires the one-time purchase of a programmer and easy to use Windows based software from SSC. Values that can be modified and descriptions of each are as follows: |
| Two (2) turnoff thresholds - battery voltage at which Sure-Start turns "off" power |
Automatic reset

| Running sensor window - the time interval that defines the sensitivity of the run sensor (the longer the window the more sensitive) |
| Threshold change delay - time delay after which Sure-Start switches from threshold one to threshold 2 |
| Shutdown delay - time between low voltage recognition and shutdown |
| Reset voltage - battery voltage required for automatic reset |
| Dwell time - time between when Sure-Start turns "off" and the reset function is enabled |
