Don't Leave Your Bus ON Without It!
The Ultimate InterlockT automatically locks both the transmission and the Spring Parking Brake.  With both the above locked, the driver can safely leave the driver's seat with the engine running.  Benefits go beyond Safety issues and include:

    With the Ultimate InterlockT, the vehicle's transmission can not be put in a drive gear nor the Spring Parking Brake released until all monitored switches are in a "safe" position, i.e. a wheel chair lift stowed properly.  IT IS THE ULTIMATE INTERLOCK!  For the utmost protection, a master interlock key comes standard with the system.  With one of these included, the driver must close all doors, fasten his or her seat belt and lastly insert the interlock key in order to release the brakes and shift the transmission into a drive gear.  Power to the lift is not provided until the interlock key is removed from its holder.  Systems are also available for vehicles with hydraulic brakes.  The Ultimate Interlock exceeds the new FMVSS 403 interlock requirements.
